We have a highly driven team with previous success in the finance industry including many years in banking, insurance and finance.
Sometimes the best career paths are the ones you don’t plan. I started in banking straight out of school and, over time, had the chance to work across different areas of credit and lending. Somewhere along the way, I realised mortgage lending was the area I enjoyed the most.
For me, the best part is seeing everything come together. People start with their income, expenses and a goal, and eventually that can become a home they can call their own. Whether they’re buying or building, seeing a family achieve something they’ve worked hard for has always made this work really rewarding for me.
My interest in home lending also led me to continue my learning at Massey University, where I achieved excellent results. I’m now very lucky to be part of The Mortgage Girls team behind the scenes. I love working with people who are knowledgeable, energetic, caring and always happy to share what they know. Hard work, kindness, authenticity and positivity are all really important to me, so I feel very much at home here.
Outside of work, I love finding little adventures in everyday life, getting my steps in, walking towards the sea, exploring somewhere new and enjoying the moments I find along the way. Add some music, baking for family, friends and my fellow volunteers, and time with my husband and our two boys, and that’s a pretty happy day for me.
